Major Victory for Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and PDP today at the Tribunal

After a careful reflection of the court proceedings today, I realised how victorious we were today in court. Not many knew the victory we got today. Even most of the Reporters didn’t know this took place.APC’S motion to stop the court from hearing our petition on the ground of some spurious claims was put to an end today by Hon. Justice Badamasi. Justice Badamasi insisted that the petition of the PDP governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu must be heard and told APC they can’t quash the petition in its infancy.
This ruling by the jury has laid to rest the flicker of hope the APC might have be nursing that the petition would be stopped before it even began. ‎It was a major setback for them knowing well that they have no hope if they allow the petition to hold. It is no wonder one of the usurpers, the interim Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu rushed out today when their hope was dashed.
As I reflect on this victory, I am reminded of the unfailing and eternal mercies of God and the story of the birth of Jesus Christ. The bibles tells us that the devil did everything to stop Jesus after he was born. Several people were sent to kill him at infancy and when they couldn’t find him, for he has been taken to Egypt, King Herold ordered the killing of all new born babies in the hope that Jesus would be part of them. Little did he know that Jesus Christ, the Saviour has been born and must live to fulfil his mission on earth.
In the same vein, this petition has been born and what God desires to do through Osagie Ize-Iyamu will be fulfilled. Neither APC nor the forces of darkness can stop it. It is his time. It’s our time. It’s God’s decree, #TakeTheFuture
